The 10 th Annual Steuben County Diabetes Walk

Greetings to all walkers!

This year (our 10 th year!!) we will start and finish the walk at the old Tri-State University Library. If you would like to pre-register on Friday, April 17, and avoid the lines on Saturday morning, you can come out anytime from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., register, and get your walk t-shirt.

On walk day, Saturday, April 18, beginning at 9:00 a.m. we will begin registration, breakfast and the Healthy Living Fair. Please feel free to come early and take part in the FREE blood sugar screenings and wealth of information provided by over 25 different health and diabetes professionals. We will once again be having team photos taken so be sure and give yourself time to have a picture taken. Team Captains will receive their photos for free but additional prints can be purchased at the walk for $1.00. All proceeds will go directly to the walk fund. Announcements will begin at 10:00 a.m. and we will start walking at approximately 10:15 a.m. All walkers donating at least $10.00 will receive a delicious lunch, a walk t-shirt, goody bag and there will be drawings for the door prizes.

All money raised will go to: the Steuben County Community Foundation-Diabetes Fund and a donation will be made to the ADA-Research Foundation and to JDRF. Our pledges will make a difference like never before helping our own community with their diabetic needs and for finding a CURE for diabetes.
